Worth the money? Played two evenings a month and kept for ten years, a set works out at about a dollar a game. The real cost of a cheap board is not the price it is that it never comes off the shelf.

Description

The games that actually happen are not the ones you planned. They are the ones you had with you when the moment showed up.

This one disappears into a bag and comes back out flat and ready. No case to open, nothing to assemble, no reason to say next time.

  • Rolls down to 10 by 2 inches, about the size of a magazine.
  • A zip pouch runs the full edge and holds every piece.
  • Unroll and play. No setup, no assembly.
  • 30 checkers, 4 dice and a doubling die included.

Nothing gets left behind because the board is its own bag. Every piece lives in the zip pouch that runs the length of the edge, so the set rolls away complete and lies flat again in seconds. No case to carry, no box to store. That is the whole difference between a game you own and a game you actually travel with.

Who it is for: you pack light, you would rather not give a hard case the space, and you still want something to play on when you stop.

This is the lightest board in the range. The same roll-up comes in two leather colourways; for a case that stands on a shelf, see the compact boards, and for the table at home a full folding set.

FAQ

When will I receive my order?

Orders are delivered within 6 to 8 business days, and your estimated delivery date is shown at checkout.

What if the set isn't right for me?

Every order is covered by a 30-day guarantee with free returns. If it isn't what you hoped for, send it back within 30 days for a refund.

How can I be sure of the quality before ordering?

Each product page lists the real materials, dimensions and everything included. We describe every set exactly as it is, without embellishment.

And if it doesn't meet your expectations on arrival, our 30-day free-return guarantee means there is no risk in trying it.

Are the colors true to the photos?

We photograph each set to represent it as faithfully as possible. Keep in mind that screens vary, and natural materials such as wood, marble and leather carry their own grain and veining, so small differences from one piece to the next are normal, and part of the character.

What are the exact dimensions?

Full dimensions, open and closed, are listed in the Details section of every product page, along with the checkers, dice and everything included in the box.

Is it made to be played, or just for display?

Both. Every set is a complete, playable board with its full set of checkers and dice, designed to look just as good left out on a table or shelf as it does in play.

Is my payment secure?

Checkout runs on an encrypted, PCI-compliant payment system. Your card details are never seen or stored by us.

Can I send it as a gift?

Yes. You can ship an order straight to the recipient's address, and many of our sets come cased, so they present beautifully as a gift on their own.
