PARLOR XXIV started with a board, not a business plan. A small, independent team kept coming back to backgammon the long evenings it holds, and the way a good set outlives the game itself.
Most sets force a choice between something you would actually play and something you would want left out. We did not see why. Every set we put our name to has to do both, and has to say plainly what it is made of.
WHY
Most backgammon sets force a choice between something you'd actually play and something you'd want left out on a shelf. We didn't see why. PARLOR XXIV exists to close that gap: a board meant to be played tonight and kept for decades.
HOW
We hold every set to dimensions built for real play, not display alone, in materials selected for how they wear over years, not how they photograph on day one. The result sits as easily on a shelf as it does open on a table.
