About the Backgammon No. 1
Cased in premium PU leather and finished by hand, the Backgammon No. 1 closes to 38 × 24 cm, small enough to travel, substantial enough to command a shelf, and opens to a full 49 × 38 cm playing surface. Each checker is cast to a confident 2 cm, weighted to feel right in hand, and paired with dice cups sized to match. Every detail is built the way a favorite piece of furniture is built: to be used, not just admired.
MATERIALS & DETAILS
Where the difference actually is.
Genuine cow leather on the roll-up sets, which darkens with handling instead of cracking. Solid wood on the Wooden Inlay, with the points inlaid rather than printed, so the pattern cannot scuff away. Premium PU leather on every other set, fine-grained and wipes clean. Checkers cast at 2 cm and weighted to sit where you place them. Every material is named exactly on every page, including where it is PU. You will know what you are buying before it arrives.

Is it made to be played, or just for display?
