Marbled Backgammon Dice, Set of 5 (16 mm) | PARLOR XXIV

Description

Every set arrives with dice. Few arrive with dice worth looking at.

The dice are the part of the game you actually touch, several times a minute, for an hour at a stretch. This is where a good board settles, or does not.

Five 16 mm dice: a pair for each player, and one to spare.
Two tones swirled through the acrylic, so no two dice come out alike.
Rounded corners for a clean, even tumble across felt or wood.
Thirteen colorways, with white or gold pips.

Sixteen millimetres is the classic backgammon size: big enough to read at a glance across the board, small enough to shake properly in a cup. The colour runs through the body rather than being painted on top, so it catches the light and does not wear off with handling. The rounded edges let each roll run and settle instead of skidding to a stop.

Who it is for: you have the board already, and now you want the pieces to be worth it. Or you are buying for someone who owns the set and wants for nothing. Pick one colorway for each player, or match them to the board.

They sit with any board in the range: the folding sets, the compact cases, the roll-up boards or the Wooden Inlay Backgammon. The rest of the small pieces are under accessories.
